What's for Dinner?

Life on this pristine island is far from the paradise that your settlers had hoped to find at the end of a grueling sea journey. It was simple enough to drop anchor and build shelter, but surrounded by unfamiliar flora and fauna, no one is sure what is safe to eat. For now, provisions left over from the voyage remain in the ship’s hull—small animals for butchering, and the seeds of fast-growing vegetables and grains. What should the settlers rely on for food?
