What began as a movement amongst the socially-deprived has begun to touch all corners of society. There is a sense that, due to years of external influence, we have strayed far from our cultural roots, where instead we should celebrate who we are. Proponents of this claim that there is an ancient and divine shared life-force within each of us, waiting to be expressed in prayer, music, food and even psychoactive plants. They also shun many trappings of modern society, including capitalism and politics. Should this counter-cultural movement be encouraged, or is it a threat to order?
Forbid communal practice, for in rejecting modern society and turning its back upon the wider world, this movement may harm our prospects.
Spend whatever it takes to help this movement flourish, for our culture should be proudly our own, distinct from all others.
Let them be free to practice this if they wish - so long as they understand that theirs is far from the only way of life in these lands.
