Following our liberation of {0}, our forces have made a horrifying discovery. Amongst the local soldiers were vast numbers of children – conscripted and forced, often brutally, to fight, to scout, to cook or to clean. Many are near-feral in their violence, and others terribly traumatized. Welcoming these broken young souls back into society and granting them better lives, as they so entirely deserve, will not be easy. What would be the most effective – and most understanding – method of doing so?
Let their original communities and cultures welcome them back, no matter the disorder caused to our wider society.
International aid organizations are best-equipped to handle so delicate a matter – but we must help ensure they are sufficiently well-resourced.
